NEW FEDERAL HEALTH CARE REFORM LAW:
IMPACT ON EMPLOYERS AND GROUP HEALTH PLANS and
HOW TO CONTROL HEALTH CARE COSTS
This program focuses on the impact of the new federal health care
reform law on employers and how to control health care costs. Alden
Bianchi, Esq., of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo will speak
on: immediate, insurance-related reforms; employers and individual
mandates; health care exchanges; limits on medical FSAs, HRAs and HSAs;
subsidies for low-income individuals; financing. Pauline Correia of
D. F. Murphy Insurance Agency and Michael Hanley of FMG Financial Services
will speak on alternative health care cost control methods: HRAs;
FSAs; HSAs; high deductible plans; self-insurance.
